The results for the 2016-2017 academic year were published on Wednesday, 9th October, 2017. Out of sixty seven thousand, six hundred and sixty two (67,662) candidates who wrote this examination, forty two thousand, five hundred and eighty two (42,582) passed and have been declared admitted into the public and private universities for the pursuit of their education.
According to the National leadership of Examination and Contests, the success rate is 62.93%. This has served as a source of relief for actors of the national education and for parents.
It should be noted that despite the chaos that rocked the educational sector in Togo, the results of this year’s BAC, experienced a higher success rate than that of the 2014-2015 academic year, which had a success rate of 44.38%.
