Eleven (11) demonstrators of both parties « Collectif Sauvons le Togo (CST) » and « Coalition Arc-en-ciel » arrested for « deliberate violence » and « public property damaging » during the demonstration on last may appeared in court this Wednesday.
The judge Katanga in his decision set six (6) persons free but others sentensed to prison, going from 12 to 24 months.
These young people were arrested on 21, 22 and 23 may during the protest demonstration against the death of Etienne Yanakou, one of the leaders of « Alliance Nationale pour le Changement », dead in prison.
