Unveiling of the program line up for the International Federation Maiden AFCON
©Afreepress-(Lomé, August, 31, 2017)- The President of National Skate Soccer Federation, Mr. Albert Kyei Frimpong, unveiled the program line up of the team ahead of the friendly game at the conference room of the International Federation of Skate Soccer (IFSS).
According to him, the International Federation of Skate Soccer(IFSS), have planned a series of activities which will lead to the International Federation Maiden AFCON in March next year of which, the Binatone International Skate soccer cup is part. This match will be on the 2nd of September and Ghana is playing Togo. “We are going to be doing all these things just to promote the sports, create awareness and make it one of the biggest sporting events around the world,” he said.
He added that the skate soccer has been going through many challenges for so many years but thankfully, things have turned out better because of the help of their sponsor who came on board. “Since the sponsor came, we’ve not looked back, we keep going forward”, Mr. Frimpong said.
The managing director of Binatone Ghana, Mr. Venu Babu also pledged his company’s support in helping the cost of skate soccer in Ghana. He said that Binatone has come forward to join the IFSS as the titled sponsor of skate soccer, that is, the “sport which is mainly for the physically challenged” and help them as much as they can. They also hope to see more from the players in the coming matches. “As titled sponsors, we are fully committed to support them as much as we can to see that the sport reaches the next level it deserves to reach”, he concluded.
