By order took on Wednesday during the first cabinet of ministers of the new government, Lieutenant-colonel Panassa Awouli is elected at the head of the national Military Police Office to succeed to Guy Akpovi, squadron chief who made only one year at this office.
Presently in France for a formation in war techniques, Guy Akpovi was considered by news to be incapable of doing this job at his departure from Togo. Some people even said that it was a plan to dismiss an unable officer who does not obey to wrong orders. It is also said that he contributed a lot in the arrest and the sentence of the responsible of the attacks against the militants of the opposition at Adéwui in September 2012.
