A horrific violence occurred on Tchamba (385 km in the north from Lomé) on the last 22nd during the match Koroki Métété against Gbikinti of Bassar.
According to the superintendent of the match, the supporters of the local club were the ones who exerciced violence on their opponents, that unfortunately leads to awful incidents. Many people were injured and a lot of materials damaged.
The heavy disciplinary actions taken by the Togolese Federation of Football against the club of Tchamba did not discourage violence actors at all that, another violence occurred on 22nd day at Notsè with “Anges” of the locality against “Gomido” of Kpalimé. Bad incidents occurred too, as well as the first ones.
To make poeple more responsible for stopping violence on football stadiums, the minister of security and civil protection, colonel Yark Damehane has called the board of the Football Federation and those of the clubs in compition for a meeting. The meeting is planned for this tuesday. All the measures are awaited to stop violence on stadiums.
