The crisis which is shaking Togolese education has been at the heart of the national assembly’s works Tuesday. After hearing the minister of primary and secondary levels, Florent Maganawé, Dama Dramani, the président of the assembly and his mates decided to meet the teachers’ organisations in order to hear them.
In the coming days, a cometee composed of the vice presidents and the presidents of the nine (9) parliamentary commissions will be created to approach the teachers.
« We are in case of emergency », reminded the president of the institution. As far as he is concerned, this crisis can no longer last whether « our children’s future will be seriously concerned ».
