The defense organisation of Christitex ans Karus-Togo shutting victims(in French CODEIVFC-K) held Saturday a meeting with their members in Lomé. This meeting aims at “finding an action plan in order to obtain shortly the repayment of the three billions and the eight hundred due respectively by Karus-Togo and Christitex to the victims”, noticed Afreepress.
The president of the organization M. Kloussé Kodjo, at the beginning of the meeting denounced the slowness remarked in the repayment proceeding. That is why he called its mates “to make up more their mind to fight”. As far as M. Klussé is concerned, the meeting is due to the fact that since 2010 when some of the victims have been partially repayed, everything is at the same place. “Our fight brought us a partial repayment, namely 41.15% of the amount collected from the members by Karus and 45.69% from Christitex members. But today there is a statu quo. The latecomers are since waiting”, regretted the president of CODEIVFC-K.
In order to be shortly repayed, all the members present at the meeting decided in unanimity “to stress the initiative. We need to meet the authorities in charge of this file, namely the forthcoming minister of justice. In case the old minister is renewed, so much the better. We agreed in the report that we will fly to Lausanne in Switzerland where Karus International is, but till now, ther is nothing new”.
The victims of the two financial networks are about six thousand of persons whose credit notes are freezed since 2009, the year of the institutions shutting.
Thousands of persons are also concerned by the same situation through other networks such as RAS and Mastercash.
